Christian T. Metten is responsible for identifying, analysis and due diligence on acquisition opportunities for office, retail, multifamily and industrial projects that meet the investment guidelines for L&B’s clients.  Mr. Metten is also the portfolio manager for a private client’s real estate portfolio with investments in excess of $420 million.  He is responsible for managing all client communications and formulation of investment strategy, the acquisition and asset/construction management process as well as managing client equity and joint venture partners.
 
Prior to joining L&B in 2000, Mr. Metten held various corporate finance and real estate positions in both public and private companies with his primary focus in areas such as site selection, mergers & acquisitions, debt financing and analysis.
 
Mr. Metten graduated from Texas A&M University in 1992 with a BBA in Finance. Mr. Metten is currently a member of the National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries, Pension Real Estate Association, Texas Association of Public Retirement Systems and is in the process of becoming a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM).
