S. Michael Bennett oversees the acquisitions of all core and enhanced value real estate for L&B’s clients.  This role includes leading and directing the Acquisitions professionals in identifying, underwriting, and implementing client’s strategy for the four major property types on a nationwide basis. 
 
Prior to joining L&B in 1998, Mr. Bennett was a private businessman involved in real estate brokerage at a resort community.  Mr. Bennett also had a 20-year career with Prudential including property acquisition, asset management, loan origination, property development and sales, and ultimately promoted to Senior Vice President responsible for acquisitions of property nationwide for Prudential’s General and Separate Accounts.
 
Mr. Bennett is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
 
Mr. Bennett holds a BS degree in industrial engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington (1971) and an MBA from Southern Methodist University in Dallas (1972).
