David W. Gleeson

David Gleeson joined L&B in 1995 when they acquired his firm.  He is currently the portfolio manager for a separate account client which he has represented for 20 years.  He is involved in the acquisition and development of both multifamily and retail assets nationwide.  Mr. Gleeson also allocates time to potential opportunistic investments.  Mr. Gleeson is also a member of L&B’s Investment Committee.
 
David began his career in 1965 when he joined the Henry S. Miller Company as a commercial property broker.  After 17 years with the Miller firm, Mr. Gleeson left to become a partner at Lincoln Property Company in charge of apartment acquisitions in the eastern U.S. and President of Lincoln Asset Management Company (LAMCO).  Mr. Gleeson served as President of Lowe Enterprises Texas beginning in April 1991 and then formed Gleeson Realty Advisors in October 1993.
 
Mr. Gleeson has served on the Boards of the Dallas Real Estate Council, the Dallas Affordable Housing Coalition, North Dallas Chamber of Commerce, SMU Mustang Club, SMU Letterman's Association, the Greater Dallas Crime Commission, the Texas Film Commission, and the USA Film Festival.  Mr. Gleeson is the current President and Founding Director (1993) of the not-for-profit Forest Heights Neighborhood Development Corporation.
 
Mr. Gleeson received his B.B.A. from SMU in 1965.
